Cooper Clayton Smoking Cessation class

April 26, 2016 @ 4:30 pm - July 19, 2016 @ 5:30 pm

Event Navigation

The Cooper/Clayton Method is a safe and effective comprehensive behavioral program to help people stay smoke-free for the rest of their lives. It was started over 25 years ago by two faculty members at UK; Thomas Cooper, DDS, a dentist and former heavy smoker, and Richard Clayton, PhD, an expert on drug addiction. This highly successful program is science-based, utilizing proven methods including education, skills training and social support. Participants in the Cooper/Clayton Method to Stop Smoking utilize nicotine replacement products such as nicotine gum, nicotine lozenges, or the nicotine patch. If financial assistance is needed to purchase nicotine replacements, class instructors can help connect participants with available resources. Call 1-800-4-SOURCE to register.
